Gold award for best use of games or simulations for learning — for gamification of language learning using CBS (an audio-based application) to improve English language proficiency of customer representatives in Optum Rx to enhance member experience.

Silver award for best learning program that supports and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion — for application of universal learning design to create an effective onboarding program for speech and hearing-impaired (SHI) team members.

A pilot batch of 13 SHI team members was successfully onboarded in Hyderabad in 2022. At the end of their training, the batch received a quality rating of 99.94%.

Bronze award for best development program for frontline managers — for creation of a blended learning program focusing on domain knowledge, operational know-how and organization culture.

The program was rolled out and completed by more than 115 frontline managers in Provider Data Operations. The training empowered the managers with platform knowledge and information on best practices for improved team, business, and customer satisfaction.

The Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards recognize organizations that value their employees and invest in them through human capital management programs and initiatives in learning and development, talent management, leadership development and diversity, equity and inclusion.

All entries are evaluated by a panel of veteran independent senior industry experts and Brandon Hall Group analysts.
