Optum India has been recognized as a best organization for women by Economic Times (ET) for the second year in a row. ET Best Organisations for Women honors businesses that show a commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in corporate India.

Amit Vaish, vice president, People team for Optum India, represented Optum at a celebratory event, and participated in a panel discussion, “Stronger together – HR blueprint for diversity and inclusion.”

At Optum, we approach diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with transparency, leadership accountability and a data-driven approach to setting priorities and measuring progress. Examples of some of Optum DEI initiatives include the gender-neutral parental leave policy, enhanced day care benefit, people leadership programs and the returnship program.

Optum aims to nurture a culture that celebrates diversity and fosters inclusion not just for women team members, but for everyone.
